Terms of Use — PrivacyX Token and Services
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE ("TERMS") CAREFULLY. BY CLICKING TO ACCEPT, OR BY ACCESSING OR USING OUR SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS IN THEIR ENTIRETY AND ALL TERMS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE.
1. Scope
These Terms of Use govern your use of PrivacyX services ("we," "our," or "us"), including but not limited to the PrivacyX platform, the PRVX token, staking mechanisms, privacy tools (Transaction Mixer, Decentralized Proxy, ZK Proofs), and any web-based applications or utilities offered through the PrivacyX ecosystem (collectively referred to as the "Services").
2. Modification of Terms
PrivacyX may update these Terms to reflect service changes, regulation, or internal policies. Updates will be posted on the website with a "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes go into effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, discontinue using the Services.
3. Eligibility and Use
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By accessing the platform, you confirm that you:
(a) are legally eligible,
(b) are not in a restricted jurisdiction,
(c) are not barred from using blockchain services under any law.
Use of the Services in sanctioned territories or by restricted persons is strictly prohibited.
4. PRVX Token Usage
The PRVX token is a utility token that grants access to the PrivacyX suite. This includes but is not limited to:
- Payment of transaction mixing or proxy usage fees
- Participation in staking programs
- Activation of Zero-Knowledge Proof services
PrivacyX does not guarantee token value, price stability, or listing on any exchange.
5. Identity & Verification
PrivacyX may require identity verification (KYC) depending on jurisdictional and compliance requirements. This may involve submitting ID documents or address verification, in line with applicable regulations.
6. Restricted Access & Suspension
We reserve the right to restrict access to the Services or suspend accounts if:
- Fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activity is suspected
- Compliance checks are pending or failed
- Access originates from restricted regions
You agree that PrivacyX has no obligation to re-enable suspended accounts.
7. Risks and Disclaimers
Using blockchain services and holding PRVX tokens involves risks, including but not limited to:
- Loss of funds due to volatility
- Smart contract bugs or exploitation
- Regulatory changes that affect token usage
- Technical failures or exploits on the Ethereum blockchain
By using the Services, you accept these risks and release PrivacyX and its affiliates from liability.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, systems, designs, and materials within the PrivacyX ecosystem are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or commercial use is prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
PrivacyX is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or token value. Access and use of the Services is at your own risk.
10. Privacy Policy
All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at privacyx.io/privacy. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of data as described.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Costa Rica, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
